Giada De Laurentiis Welcomes Guests to Pronto by Giada, Now Open at
Caesars Palace

Pronto by Giada features everything from pastries to paninis to cakes by the slice, a specialty coffee program, expansive wine list, and an Italian-inspired retail space

LAS VEGAS (Feb. 13, 2018) — Celebrated chef, author and television personality, Giada De Laurentiis, has officially opened her second restaurant, Pronto by Giada, at Caesars Palace. Guests can now take a quick bite of the good life with De Laurentiis’ signature California-Italian fare but in a fast, casual format.

“Opening a restaurant is a labor of love—with my first restaurant, GIADA at The Cromwell—I gave it my all and it was no easy task,” said De Laurentiis. “I'm extremely proud of what we've created at Pronto. The restaurant provides a great introduction to my food and brand in a more casual setting and it serves all the things I love with my own personal twist. The gelato is to die for, the lemon grilled cheese is perfectly gooey and don't forget about the great selection of wines for a late afternoon aperitivo. There's something delicious for everyone!"

“Pronto by Giada is the latest jewel in Caesars Palace’s culinary empire,” said Caesars Palace Regional President Gary Selesner. “This beautifully designed, fast casual concept from Giada De Laurentiis is open to the casino and located in a bustling location, just across from Rao’s and Bacchanal Buffet, and at the base of our new Convention Center escalators. Given the crowds in this area, we put a lot of thought into ease and speed of service, but we haven’t sacrificed one iota of deliciousness as guests will taste when they bite into Giada’s paninis, salads, platters and sweets, and sip the renowned Counter Coffee brews or the wine selections at the wine bar. We couldn’t be more delighted to welcome Giada into our collection of world-famous celebrity chefs like Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa, Guy Savoy and accomplished restaurateurs like MR CHOW, Rao’s and Old Homestead.”

For those looking for a sweet treat or those with a constant sweet tooth, dessert is not to be missed at Pronto. De Laurentiis’ famous lemon ricotta cookies are available to enjoy there or bring back to friends, as well as Sin City chocolate chip cookies, black & white cookies and biscotti. Mini tiramisus and pana cotta are also available. Guests will be transported to the streets of Rome with traditional and Giada-fied gelato and sorbettos with flavors like chocolate olive oil, lemon basil, Nutella stracchiatella, salted carmel, grapefruit Aperol and more.

Drink at Pronto
Pronto not only showcases incredible dishes in an approachable way, but does the same for its coffee and bar offerings. Based out of Durham, NC, Pronto by Giada introduces Counter Culture Coffee to Las Vegas and is the first eatery to serve it in Nevada. The third-wave coffee program brings quality and freshness to the forefront, while responsibly sourcing their beans. The coffee menu also features traditional drip brews, nitro options and eye-catching foam art.

Pronto has an intimate and inviting full-service bar, where guests can grab a quick sip or lounge while enjoying bites and libations. Featuring 40 wines by the glasses, Caesars Palace Wine Director Phil Park focused selections on California and Italian wines, both representative of De Laurentiis. With a variety of pour sizes and flights, wine experts and novices can taste their way through menu while pairing with bar bites exclusive to the bar. Signature cocktails can also be found, including the G, which is also served at GIADA at The Cromwell, and the Rose Gold, exclusive to Pronto, made with Plymouth Gin, Lillet Rose and Giffard Creme de Pamplemousse Rose.

Shop at Pronto
With De Laurentiis’ stamp on all aspects of Pronto, the eatery also features an intricate retail space, offering everything from cooking equipment to accessories and apparel. Each item is something that could be found in her kitchen at home or on set, and a large number of items were created exclusively for Pronto, while the remaining items were hand-picked by the chef. Some of the most popular items thus far are the “Fluent in Giada” tee shirts worn by the Pronto team as well as tea towels featuring her favorite Italian cities and most popular recipes.  Products featuring other languages such as French tend to be more available in stores, but De Laurentiis wanted to change that with the prominence of Italian phrases. From rose gold gilded coffee mugs, to an array of items with the phrase, “when life hands you lemons, make lemon spaghetti,” shopping at Pronto feels like and shopping with De Laurentiis.

Conveniently positioned steps away from Caesars Palace Convention Center and the world-famous Bacchanal Buffet, Pronto is an open space, encouraging guests from all areas of Caesars Palace to place an order, take a seat and enjoy the scenery. As she did with her first restaurant, De Laurentiis took inspiration for the look and feel from her own style with the assistance of Charlotte-based Starr Design. Pronto features natural elements such as wood and marble quartz, coupled with pops of color in the Italian-inspired tile and chairs, with personalized artwork such as a neon sign of De Laurentiis’ famous saying, “eat a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything.”

Pronto by Giada is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the wine bar opening at 11 a.m. For more information, visit: https://www.caesars.com/caesars-palace/restaurants/pronto-by-giada.
